Orange County Mayor, Jerry Demings announced that he expects the county to reach phase 3 of the reopening plan on Friday June 4.

Phase 3 of the reopening plan will lift all mask mandates indoors and outdoors.

"This phase requires that seventy percent of individuals 16 and older have received their first dose of the vaccine and/or that the 14 day rolling positivity rate remains at 5% or below." WDW News Today stated. "Currently the 14 day positivity rate has been below 5% for about 11 days, while the vaccination level has stayed at 55.07%. But if the mayor is correct, then all of the required benchmarks should be reached by Friday and all mask mandates lifted in Orange County."

Recently on Saturday, May 29, Universal Orlando Resort has removed their mask requirement and social distancing rules indoors for vaccinated guests. While, Disney is still requiring mask indoors but you don't have to wear them outdoors.
