Beginning Saturday May, 29, Universal will be making mask wearing indoors an optional things for their guests, eliminating the requirement for face coverings when enjoying attractions both indoors and outdoors.
"Safety measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic at theme parks have been changing on a weekly basis as of late. First, temperature checks were removed and physical distancing requirements reduced to three feet. Then, the mandate for face coverings to be worn while outdoors was relaxed less than two weeks ago. Now, it’s being reported to us that wearing masks indoors will also become optional."
Universal Park News Today stated.
Team Members who were assigned to mask enforcement jobs will now be reassigned to other tasks beginning this weekend.
