Odyssey Of The Seas Officially Arrives In The U.S.

Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas ship has officially arrived at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale Florida on Thursday June, 10.

Back in April the Quantum Ultra class ship arrived in Haifa Israel and was originally planned to offer cruises from Israel to the Eastern Mediterranean this summer in order to get around the CDC's past Conditional Sailing Order.

Odyssey was then going to return to Port Everglades in November of 2021 offer six-eight night cruises, but Royal Caribbean decided to push it five months ahead of schedule, starting it's round trip summer cruises on July, 3.

This will only happen if the U.S. Center For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) approves the sailings.

In order for this to happen the ship will have to undergo test cruises to show the CDC their protocols and they'll determine if it's effective or not.

Royal Caribbean is the first cruise line to get approval from the CDC in order to start test cruises.
