After we finally realized that the U.S. wasn't going to shutdown for only two weeks back in 2020, we've struggled with the question when will we be able to go back to normal again, well sooner than you think, as Wynn and Encore casinos are functioning at full capacity.

The Wynn Resorts properties was given the green light by the Nevada Gaming Control Board to lift the capacity and social distancing requirements after proving that 88% of it's employees have been fully vaccinated.

Encore used their convention center as a vaccination site that served the community and it's employees back in January. Wynn also spent $250 million to ensure they all got paid during the shutdown.

Governor of Nevada Steve Sisolak stated he'd like the entire state to reach 100% capacity by June, as the state last weekend lowered restrictions by allowing 80% capacity instead of 50% capacity across all casinos in Las Vegas.

“Our employees and guests will continue to follow health and safety guidelines, including mask compliance, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all.”

A Wynn resorts spokesperson stated.

There's currently no information if other casinos on the strip are allowed to open up at 100% capacity.
